The Best Sling for DJI Pocket Osmo Users – ALPAKA Metro Sling Review

Watch the full video review below!
If you’re a DJI Pocket Osmo user like me, this is a fantastic sling.. I’ve been rocking the ALPAKA Metro Crossbody (10L) for a while now, and I gotta say—it’s become my go-to everyday carry.
Full transparency: ALPAKA sent me this bag for free, but they didn’t pay me or tell me what to say. I’ve been using their gear long before they ever reached out, and I only share stuff I actually like. Links on this page may be affiliated.
What I like?

- Material: Made with ALPAKA’s AXOFLEX fabric (their version of ripstop), it’s water-resistant and feels tough but smooth.
- Size & Storage: It’s a larger sling at 10L, with enough room for an iPad Mini, a book, a lightweight jacket, and more. Plus, there’s a fold-flat water bottle pocket—slim Nalgenes and disposables fit perfectly.
- Light Interior: Except for the iPad slot (which is velvet black), the rest of the bag has a light interior—so you’re not losing SD cards or cables in the void.
- Travel Friendly: Works great as a personal item on flights and has a luggage pass-through strap.

The Real MVP Feature
There’s a small front pouch on the strap, and this is where it shines for DJI Pocket Osmo fans. You can slide your Osmo (even in its protective sleeve) right in for quick access—super clutch when you’re out filming.
A Quick Note on Fit
This bag is directional—you have to choose a left or right shoulder version. As someone with a bad right shoulder, I appreciate that choice. If you’ve ever been stuck with a strap that sits wrong, you know how important that is.

Bottom Line: If you’re a content creator, a traveler, or just someone who wants a solid, comfortable everyday sling with smart design and DJI Osmo-friendly features, the ALPAKA Metro Sling is worth checking out. Not for the ultralight crowd—it’s built solid—but that’s exactly why I love it.
