A Solid Beginner Camera Bag

Brevite Jumper Bag

To start off with, Brevite kindly sent this camera to me for no charge. Beyond that I have not received any other compensation. Links within this page are affiliate marketing which helps keep my channel afloat.

Over the last few weeks I have been using the Jumper bag by Brevite for my every day backpack. It has held my cameras and laptop as I travel around town and make small road trips. Overall I have had a great experience. I do have a few small complaints and hopefully this review helps you make a solid purchase decision.

General Construction

The exterior of this bag is created of a smooth nylon. Every panel does seem to be well padded. I am stacking this bag up against my Every Day Backpack from Nomatic - which may not be a completely fair comparison as the Nomatic is almost double the cost.

Camera Cube

This bag's main claim to fame is the camera cube portion. It has modular dividers that allow you to customize your layout. I will note, that my Sony A7IV does fit here, however it is a tight fit and you really only have one way to use it.

This is mainly due to the fact that there is a super cool quick access pocket for you to access your camera on the go. So this means the back end of your camera must face a certain side.

My APS-C FujiFilm does work extremely well with this bag. You can check that camera out here: https://geni.us/aR1OYR

Tripod Pocket

This is a great feature for storing your travel tripod. I have my Travel Tripod from Peak Design in mine. You can check that out here: https://geni.us/QNzy

Unlike the Every Day Backpack from Nomatic, this bag comes with an included strap to keep your tripod nice and secure. This is a very nice touch.

Other Pockets

Of course, it does have a main storage compartment up top for all your quick access items. Th is is great for your headphones or wallet. It also has a very cool secret pocket for a passport or wallet. Finally, it also has a fully sectioned out flap on the front for all your small items. I used it for my ND filter,

tentacle sync mic, and notepad.
