Why I Switched To This Sling

It has been a great summer so far! I haven't posted in a while, as life has been crazy. I have been tackling many personal and professional projects. I also spent the greater part of the month in Japan. The thing that led up to purchasing yet another sling bag was Invisalign. My goodness, this has been quite the life change.
While I ultimately feel it will be a worthwhile venture, it has made me change my eating schedule and bring a ton of gear with me when I am out and about. If you or someone you know has had any orthodontic treatment, you know that you must keep your teeth super clean. This means any time you want to eat (or drink anything other than water) you have to brush and floss. Otherwise, the small amount of food left on your teeth will be trapped under your Invisalign and ruin your teeth.
So, in other words, my EDC has gotten much bigger. More than my pockets can handle!
Exterior of The Sling

This is my second sling from the Bellroy Venture line, and it has the exact same exterior as my larger one. It is smooth, durable, and very professional-looking. This was the big sell. I have plenty of Cotopaxi and Patagonia slings, but this one looks professional. It doesn't stand out as an "outdoorsy" bag. The zippers are well-designed and seem to be waterproof.
Interior

The inside of the bag was thoughtfully designed with light coloring so that you can easily see what is inside. It comes with a sunglasses pocket as well as multiple dividers to keep your electronics safe.
Final Thoughts

You should watch my video above, I really deep dive into why I like this bag. The bottom line is, I think even after being out for a few years this is still the best sling bag on the market for small EDC gear.
