Summer Travel Woes

Hey everyone, welcome back to David Does. Hope your summer's treating you well, and you've managed to dodge the travel chaos this year. I know I've had a few close calls, sprinting between connections thanks to weather delays and the recent CrowdStrike outage. What a weekend to travel! But one thing that's made all the difference for me is streamlining my gear.

I started off with these vinyl mesh bags from Amazon. Honestly, I am still going to use these in other places of my life. You should start here if you are interested in slimming down! https://geni.us/MeshTravelBags

Slimming Down to One Bag

I've been on a mission to travel lighter and smarter. This summer, I've been rocking the Air Travel Pack 3, and it's been a game changer. I can pack about a week's worth of clothes in there, and if I have access to a washing machine, I'm all set. But the real magic happened when I decided to downsize my DOP kit. That's where the ALPAKA Toiletry Kit comes in.

Discovering the ALPAKA Toiletry Kit

I stumbled upon these inexpensive mesh bags on Amazon, and let me tell you, they are a gem. The ALPAKA Toiletry Kit is not just about affordability; it's about practicality and efficiency. It's compact, lightweight, and fits perfectly into my minimalist travel setup. I'm sharing a link below for anyone interested. Trust me, these bags are a solid option for anyone looking to simplify their travel experience.

The exterior of the bag is a very nice rip stop like material. The zippers are high quality and appear to be water resistant. The organizer inside is slim and useful.

More than a Toiletry Bag

This bag is advertised as a Toiletry bag however I think this is a bit more than that. It comes with a few different attachments that can convert this into a sling or wristlet.

While this bag is bigger than my mesh bags I feel a bit better bringing this with me as once I get to my hotel I can convert this into a sling. I could also see this being used a tech organizer!
